Summary Heading
Historic heritage values — other

Gaps in systematic identification and reporting remain for many historic heritage components in the Region. Condition and trend can only be inferred.

Summary Heading
Commonwealth lightstations

The condition of the four lightstations in the Region included on the Commonwealth Heritage List are inferred to be in good condition. Managers infer a stable trend; however, there is a lack of published evidence.

Summary Heading
Other historic lightstations and lighthouses

The site of the former Pine Islet lightstation remains dilapidated. Generally, condition reporting on this component is data deficient.

Summary Heading
Historic voyages and shipwrecks

The six historic shipwrecks in protected zones in the Region are well recorded. Condition is inferred due to minimal available evidence since 2019. Managers infer it to be poor based on their understanding of changing environmental factors. Data gaps continue to exist for other sites, associated artefacts and routes of voyages.

Summary Heading
World War II features and sites

Limited progress has been made since the Outlook Report 2019 in systematically recording the majority of sites and associated artefacts.
