Seven physical processes are graded in terms of changes over the last 5 years due to human activities and consequential effects on ecosystem function. Of these, currents remain in very good condition and 4 other processes (cyclones and wind, freshwater inflow, sea level and light) in good condition, while sediment exposure and sea temperature remain in poor and very poor condition, respectively.
